After the successful weekend, the CTC Express departed the Morristown & Erie on Monday morning, September 25th.  Amtrak 100 pulled the train from Whippany to Morristown, and here it can be seen crossing Abbett Avenue on its way to NJ Transit.

ME 20 pulled the train from Baker interlocking to the Meadows Maintenance Complex on NJ Transit.

Here is one last view of the train departing, showing the hind end passing through Morristown Station, bringing a successful event to an end.

Thanks to the US Postal Service, Amtrak, the Whippany Railway Museum, and all of the groups who made the CTC Express visit a success.
